haha Yes, they are pretty hot. Sometimes I feel the need to tell Zac to take a shower and wash his hair, but you know…whatever.

And yes, they do walk barefoot in the winter, unless there’s snow on the ground. I walked in about 10 inches of snow with them (in an actual snowstorm) 2 years ago, but we weren’t barefoot. They’ll walk through anything, in almost any temperature. The only two walks they’ve ever canceled were because it was like, -20 outside.

I also forgot to mention that they personally went to Africa with Tom’s Shoes and delivered over 50,000 pairs of shoes that their fans bought on their first tour. While they were there, in 4 days, the fans raised $13,000 for a specific school they visited and they were able to hand them a check before they left Africa. It’s effing awesome to be a Hanson fan.

It’s really inspiring that a successful band goes out of their way to connect with fans and do good for the world–especially at a time when being so outwardly selfish is the “in” thing to do. I never thought I’d say this, but WAY TO GO, HANSON!

That is really awesome, Irish! That sounds like such an inspiration in your life and it makes me feel inspired just by hearing about it. Hanson does sound like an admirable group of people. I love that they would do all of that for such a worthy cause. Some people these days are too inconsiderate of others, so I’m glad to see more of things like this in the world. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
