You have to stay true to your story’s world. There can’t be any half measures with writing, so go for it and write what you feel is true to the characters you’ve created. If you stick to your guns and write true, you’re going to find an audience. Good luck!

From the stuff that you’ve mentioned, I don’t think you’ll alienate your readers. I think suicide, slash, and excessive dramatic tragedy is going to attract even more readers. Everyone will have a lot of different stuff to say this time, but I personally cannot wait. ” To infamy and beyond… ” I second that

Lady, this makes me want to read this MORE! I know you do everything with taste. You made Edmund having an affair with Peter’s wife believable, so I have no doubt you will pull slash and suicide and more drama off.

Those are incredibly controversial, Tasty, but I am very impressed by your confidence in all the crazy ideas you use (which have actually been doing pretty dang well for you so far, I have to say ) and look forward to reading NM even more after reading this. Good writing is not possible without ruffling some feathers and/or manipulating the emotions of your readers. You’ve got me completely hooked on this series.
