Submit Your Story
The goal of this site is to be a resource to promote quality Narnia fan fictions. Thus, our screening team will look over each submission to make sure that every story listed here is of the highest quality.
The following is what we look for:
- Good grammar
- Correct spelling/punctuation
- Canon characters staying in character
- Original characters are believable
- Unique, interesting plot
The following do not affect being listed here:
- How many reviews a story has. We are looking for underrated stories!
- What the rating is. Please note that we will specify what the rating is in the listing.
- Whether the story is completed or not. All we need is a large enough sample to get a feel for the story (3-5 chapters depending on chapter length).
- What site the story is listed on. We will link to anywhere, as long as it is not a pornographic site.
We cannot stress how important correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation is. A bad plot + good grammar is way more likely to be accepted than good plot + bad grammar.
Notes about submitting a story to NFFR:
- Only authors can submit their own stories.
- We have a very large queue of stories to be screened. We will get to your story in the order it was submitted. It may be a few months before you hear back from us.
- If you resubmit the same story, we will assume that the first submission is null. Your first submission will be discarded, and your story will be reviewed in the order the newest submission is received. Therefore, do not resubmit a story unless you wish to wait even longer to be screened!
- You will be emailed when your story has been accepted or rejected. You are welcome to resubmit your story after it has been rejected, provided you have made changes to improve the story.
- If you submit the wrong link in the submission form, your submission will be discarded. A common error is submitting the ff.net "Live Preview" link, which only the author themselves can access.
